Problem

User received the following error when attempting to sync:

Attempt to de-reference a null object 
Error is in expression '{!sync}' in component <apex:page> in page h2s:harvestsyncprojectentries: (H2S) 
An unexpected error has occurred. Your solution provider has been notified. (H2S)


Solution

  1. Make sure that the Harvest Username and Password entered in the HarvestSync Settings tab are validate for a Harvest administrator in your domain. We suggest you login manually by typing your Harvest username and password so that you are sure they are good credentials (instead of relying on a password saver).

  2. Once you have verified you have good credentials, go to the HarvestSync Settings tab and click "Edit" and re-enter your Harvest username and password. Also ensure that the Harvest URL is correct and begins with "https://""
